Mukandprem Kaur (Anna) will be forever grateful for the running injury which prompted her to try yoga. Not only was yoga helpful in her physical recovery, it also gave her the spiritual path she had been craving. In 2012 she received her Hatha certification at Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. Her teaching career started at Sun and Sage Yoga in Quesnel, BC where the practice was relatively new for the northern community.  She attended somespecialty yoga courses such asYin Yoga, Yoga for Cancer and Trauma Sensitive Yoga training. In her personal quest she stumbled upon Beyond Addiction: A Yogic Path to Recovery which was a Kundalini Yoga based 16 week online course. It is through this program that she fell in love with the practice of Kundalini Yoga. Realizing the immenserelief that she experienced with her own personal issues through this practice, Mukandprem was inspired to take her Kundalini Teacher training in 2014/15.

Relocating to Vancouver, she is grateful to be teaching a regular class at Yoga West. She is a wife, mother, grand mother and a licensed hairstylist. She also enjoys running, biking and strength training. Mukandprem believes that her Kundalini practice has enhanced all the areas of her life and wants to share this joy with others.
