Guru Sansar's first exposure to yoga was in the 1970s, where she learned from observing her mother practicing Hatha Yoga. As an adult, she has received insight and instruction from teachers of different Yogic and Buddhist lineages. A move to Vancouver in 2006 introduced her to the Kundalini Yoga community at Yoga West, where she completed her level 1 Teacher Training certification in 2008. Since then she has enjoyed teaching as a vital component to integrate and deepen her understanding of this sacred technology. She has been leading the Women's Full Moon Meditation at Yoga West for the past few years. Guru Sansar is a self-professed Bhakti Yogi, who finds the greatest experiences of shuniya in wilderness spaces of the high alpine and among her cetacean friends in the ocean.
