For many women at camp the meals are one of the highlights, very bright nourishing food with a lot of prana and our own KLC style!

vKarma Yoga. As part of the graceful community spirit that is created at camp, each of us serves each other in doing some karma yoga. This is meal serving, dish-washing, grounds crew or other needed activities. This is a way to connect deeper with all of the women and with yourself.

"The experience of Ladies Camp to me... We come together, sisters in consciousness, sisters in peace, sisters of inner beauty and outer radiance. It doesn't matter what make of car you drive or which neighbourhood your from. There's no line up at the bathroom mirror, it doesn't matter if you're having a bad hair day. There's connection beyond the everyday, a shoulder to lean on, a soul to laugh with, nature and beauty, friends, contemplation, relaxation and sweet release. Cradled in safety, allowed to be all, be quiet, be seen, beloved."

Tammy

“Khalsa Ladies' Camp was one of the most enlightening, different and fascinating experiences of my 56 year life. The camp itself seemed ideal for the classes, healing meditations, prayers and chanting. What struck me first was the welcome heartfully given, and the love so gratefully received. I have never been in the company of 100 women before, and the whole Yoga experience was completely unfamiliar to me. However, after just a few hours, I felt I was meant to be with these women. I felt my consciousness grow, encouraged by the group, I met individuals I feel are my loving friends, and experienced their loving healing techniques. The food was incredible, the staff very helpful. I never heard a cross word, a loud voice, or felt any negative feelings the whole time. I'm looking forward to returning again next year.”

Jackie Ross

"Every year at Ladie's Camp gets better, and I felt a greater openness this year with the women attending. Whether we spoke to each other or not, there was a wonderful sense of comradeship and an ecstatic, collective knowing that what we had available to us in those precious few days is as good as it gets!"

Donna Alstad

"Exceptional vibration. Couldn't sleep. Got into the rhythm. Slowly stretching open. Release. Internal shifting. Ahhhhh!!!!".

Raquel

"This camp was even more incredible then previous years. I learned and discovered so much about myself and I met and got to know so many people. I got some turban cloth while I was in little India and i have been wearing a turban while at home. It feels good. I have also been doing Sadhana every single morning before school. That has helped me feel so incredible. Camp is such a great experience. You discover who you are, but you also get to look yourself in the face. All the women that are there with you are mirrors and you realize that we are just human, but that we are women and that is incredible. Every year it just gets more intense, powerful and even more incredible. Thank you!"

Amrit Sadhana

"I arrived at the camp feeling definitively human, and left feeling like a goddess."

Swarn Kaur

"Ladies Camp reminded me of all the beauty, power and wonder I've always had but forgotten. All the garbage I carry around began to evaporate, I physically and mentally felt better. It allowed me to see inside myself again. I wish it was more than once a year."

Marina

"Ladies Camp was pure magic. All the natural elements were there, beautiful sunny days, wonderful food, a gorgeous beach and forest, but the high vibration of this place went beyond all of these things. It was created by women who were so grateful to be there and participate in such an array of uplifting events. The music, the Gurdwara, all the incredible classes. Along with experiencing the pure bliss of the meditative space, there is nothing like sharing food and stories with a group of like-minded women. It has allowed me to bring more of myself back to my day to day reality."

Donna

"Thank you so much for your generosity and ability in leading the Khalsa Ladies Camp! It was a very positive and powerful experience for me, and is with me today. I could go on and on about my appreciation - I will spare you that - know that I really appreciate your gift to all of us!"

Jeanne

"Ladies camp was a fun, yet sacred experience. I am opened up to my "Goddess", and that has changed the way I feel about myself, and how I relate to the rest of the world. I respect my grace and radiance like never before, and feel comfortable and respectful to that of others."

Nirinjan

"The discovery I made at Ladies Camp was that through many years of working in the Corporate world, mostly with men, I had lost "my lady". Being with this group of beautiful, spiritual woman made me feel a strong draw to reconnect with my feminine self. It feels lovely to be soft, warm and cozy yet powerful and centered. This awareness touches everything I say and do. The wonderful environment, deep in the woods, close to the ocean was healing on many levels. The food was so amazing and healthy. Camp changed me in a way that I will always be grateful for, and I will return at every chance I get. Thank you for helping to make this a life changing experience for me."

Ajai

"As I return to my daily life this week, I feel extremely joyous and blessed to have had the opportunity to experience Ladies Camp this year. Now I'm back at the busy pace of work and other commitments my appreciation of this time away increases each day! Thank you for a beautiful 4 days, and for holding the sacred space where I was able to heal and explore."
